Broad beans - ancient plants in cultivation

Broad Bean Vicia faba is a stiffly erect, annual plant 0.5 to 1.8 metres (1 ft 8 in - 5 ft 11") tall with two or four stems that are square in cross section and 10–25 centimetres long pinnate leaves colored distinct  glaucous grey green color unlike most other vetches these do not have tendrils for climbing over vegetation like their close relative Vigna angularis which also has white standard petals wing-white varieties having black spot on keel minor variant found mostly East Asia where it was first cultivated during Neolithic age around 5000 years ago while another variety called reinet now grown widely across Europe since medieval times.

Broad beans have been among the most ancient plants in cultivation, and also one of easiest to grow. They are believed by some scientists (though not all) that these legumes became part our diet around 6000 BCE or earlier; however their wild ancestors remain undiscovered and where they originated from remains unknown. The broad bean's hardiness makes them suitable for harsh climates like those found throughout much if not allEuropa Ridge which allows it can be grown anywhere even though there soil type must meet certain requirements such salinity levels.

Broad beans are generally eaten while still young and tender, enabling harvesting to begin as early as the middle of spring for plants started under glass or overwintered in a protected location. However even though main crop sown by early summer will be ready from mid-summer on up until late autumn when they're harvested Horse bean pods need more time than others so it's best not just leave them till last minute! These nutritious legumes should actually come into full maturity before being picked which helps with both nutrition value but also taste if you plan accordingly.

The fava bean has been used as a food for humans and animals alike, but also in medicine. It can be served fresh or canned to taste like its counterpart--the kidney bean! Fava beans have high amounts of dietary fiber with important vitamins such as niacin B6 riboflavin minerals too; including iron copper calcium magnesium manganese. Favas may not seem very appetizing at first glance because many countries use them predominantly made into powder form than whole vegetables however it contains large quantities nutrient-rich microelements that our bodies need every day.

The world's top five broad bean producing countries are China, Ethiopia and Australia in that order. The leading European producer is France followed by the United Kingdom while other significant procurements come from Sudan Egypt or Peru for example; however we also provide data on all 500 agricultural products currently being traded across these markets which can be accessed through our service at any time as well offer a huge database including agribusinesses ready to establish business cooperation along with current events related thereto too!
